Hobart and Derwent Chapters have for some years now combined to conduct Sausage Sizzles at Bunnings stores in Hobart.  Over the years we have developed a good rapport with the management of Bunnings and frequently are asked to attend if there is a vacancy. 

These photographs were taken on Easter Tuesday when we were absolutely run off our feet, as can be seen by the cook (me) mopping my brow.  In the other photograph is Margaret Campbell (our Chief Organiser) and Jan Webberley.  By noting on the sandwich board we are members of the Order of the Eastern Star, as well as stating which charity we are supporting, is proving very successful.  We are often asked “What is the Order of the Eastern Star”?   While we are yet to gain members through this means of advertising the organization, we are making the community aware of our existence.  Many will give us a donation to aid our charitable work.
