P&P GRAND REPRESENTATIVES ASSOCIATION LUNCHEON.
June 5, 2019 in the Festival Function Centre, Findon, South Australia.
Mr Jonathan Nantes, MC on behalf of the President, Miss Elizabeth Watt and Patron, Mr Graham Deacon, welcomed the Present & Past Grand Representatives from Australia and Overseas and their guests to our Biennial Luncheon.
The Entry Parade introduced each Dignitary present and their Escort, who where possible, is a current Grand Representative in Australia. A successful function needs many to assist – the Table Hostesses, the MC, the Organist and the welcoming Escorts for table direction. Very grateful for the assistance given.
Our Most Worthy Grand Matron, Mrs Helen McLaughlan had the pleasure of presenting 4 Commissions to Mrs Margaret Down (Italy), Ms Janice Cartwright (Utah), Mrs Sandra David (New Mexico), Mrs Joan Smith (Wyoming).
Lunch was served.
The President gave her Welcome Address and the Toast to the Grand Representatives Association was given by Mrs Sharyn Deacon.
The Responses:
At the conclusion of our Lunch was the Biennale Meeting of the Association.
Business and Election were conducted.
Term 2019 – 2021 President, Mrs Maureen Hillman (NSW/ACT), Secretary/Treasurer Mrs Margaret Smith (NSW/ACT). Introduction of the WG Fraternal Correspondent & Patron, Mr Stephen Brown (SA).
